Conferences on both primary and secondary education are geared towards professionals working with children with Down's syndrome (teachers, learning support staff, SENCOs, advisory support services, educational psychologists). Parents of school-age children with Down’s syndrome are also welcome.
Our primary education conferences feature presentations on:-
* Effective inclusion
* Promoting positive behaviour
* Accessing the curriculum
* Reading
Delegates can also choose to attend one workshop from the following possible topics:
* Transition to secondary school
* Numeracy
* Information and communication technology
* Sex and relationships education
The conference will be held at the East Malling Conference Centre, Maidstone, Kent.
