Employment

Of a potential workforce of approx 15,000 adults with Down’s syndrome in the UK, less than one in five will ever have the chance to prove that they are capable of contributing successfully to the nation’s economy. With appropriate training and support, people with Down’s syndrome can and do make a huge contribution to their workplace. The Down’s Syndrome Association wants to give people with Down's syndrome the same choices and chances as the rest of the population. We would like you to help us make this a reality. Please download our booklet for employers to find out more about how you can help.
