Organ donation
The Association exists to create and develop the conditions that will enable people with Down's syndrome to attain their full potential as people with a positive place in our society.
Many people with Down's syndrome lead healthy and fulfilled lives exercising their individual potential.
The Association considers that candidates for organ transplantation should be evaluated as individuals and not on the basis of a label. As a result, people with Down’s syndrome should have equal access to all medical treatment including organ transplantation.
