Quackers did it!
|

For the past 3 months the DSA have literally gone Quackers. Not only have we and our members and supporters been selling ducks for the Great British Duck Race, we have also taken our little Quackers on many adventures. He’s been to Ibiza, Turkey, various festivals, on army weekends and all sorts and on Sunday 2nd September, him and 165,000 of his friends raced down the River Thames in the first ever Great British Duck Race.
Although the ducks took a while to all make it down the 1km stretch of River, the little Quackers swam/floated their hearts out and eventually made it down to Albany Reach. The winning numbers are printed up on the GB Duck website (www.thegreatbritishduckrace.co.uk) so check your duck cards and see if you were one of the lucky winners.
We’d like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone at the Great British Duck Race for allowing us to be part of such a fantastic event and of course every one of you who bought a duck or helped us sell ducks – fingers crossed we can sell even more next year!
Duck cards for the 2008 race will soon be ready to sell. For more information contact Lex on or email .
