This conference is geared towards parents of very young children with Down's syndrome and prospective parents as well as health, education and social care professionals working with children under 5 with Down's syndrome and professionals working with prospective parents.
The conference aims to improve our understanding of the needs of children with Down's syndrome aged 0-4 years. Typically, these conferences will feature presentations on some of the following topics; positive healthcare; learning and behaviour; toileting; welfare benefits; communication; homeopathy; and toileting. In the past, many parents and professionals have also commented how much they enjoyed the opportunity to meet new people and share experiences.
Crèche facilities are available at these conferences, although crèche places are limited.
The conference will be held at the Ribby Hall Village, Nr Preston.
