This innovative two day conference (Friday 21st for service providers; Saturday 22nd for carers) will explore recent research on the development of dementia in people with Down's syndrome and give practical strategies for developing appropriate care packages to meet their needs. Speakers include Dr Tony Holland (University of Cambridge); Dr Karen Dodd (Surrey Oaklands NHS Trust); Dr Sunny Kalsy (Birmingham Psychology Services for People with Learning Disabilities); Diana Kerr (Dementia Development Centre, University of Sterling). Professionals £60, carers £10. Adults with Down's syndrome free. More information from Rachel Davies on . email . Closing date 31st October 2003.
