Early Intervention for Children with Learning Disabilities - The Patricia Champion Approach

30/06/2004Book Now Online!

Langdon Down Centre, Teddington. 30 June 2004. 11am to 1pm (lunch provided)

Patricia Champion is the Founder of the Innovative Champion Centre based in New Zealand. The Centre has established an international reputation for promoting a high quality Early Intervention programme for learning disabled children. The programme celebrates the 'whole child and his or her family'. This is achieved through conducting a Developmental Assessment and then providing a "wrap-around" service involving a variety of practitioners including: paediatricians, dieticians and visual and hearing resource specialists. Additional therapy programmes include music, play and use of IT/computer packages. Patricia joins us 'hot-foot' from the International Learning Disability Conference in Montpellier. A compelling opportunity to be stimulated and informed. Information from Julian Hallett by calling or e-mail
